Literature Circle Reflection of Working Together

The benefits of working together is that you could have less work than usual. At usual, you have to do 2 passages, questions and vocabulary but in working together you can just do one each. The other reason that is good is that you could have better grades. If your partner is good and you're bad, then you'll have better grades than usual.

The challenges I had to overcome was when I was too lazy. Since I just did 1 passage, question and vocabulary, I feel myself lazy. When  you had to do 2 passages, questions and vocabulary, I just said to myself hey Jung Hun have lots of work to do and you should do it fast. But if I work with a partner I would say hey Jung Hun just play a bit more because you got less to do. That was the challenge I had to overcome as working together.

New understanding came into my mind when Shivank and I had a different type of writing. If Shivank had different type of writing compared to me, I would tell him to change it. I was selfish. But, I could understand he's style of writing.

Literature Circle Reflection

The literature circle helped me to understand the novel in many ways. The first way is that if you didn't understand the bit of a paragraph, someone in your group might have chosen that and the person who chose the paragragh will explain about the paragraph and you will know what the paragraph is about. The second way is that when you say something wrong about the story, the people in your group will tell you why you're wrong. So, that helps us to understand more about the novel.

Some of the connections I made was when Brian got lost, I also got lost in Korea. When Brian was got lost from the plane, I was also lost.

I have a prediction that the plane would come get Brian to rescue or he will find out a way to go back to where he live. The reason I predicted this is because most of the endings in novels about someone being stranded on an island ends like that. Same as the book "Call it Courage" Mafatu was stuck on an island and he finds out a way to get back to the island.

Jung Hun's Blog Entry

I took a photo of my iPod touch. This image has 1 line of symmetry. There is a symmetry from the top edge middle of  the iPod Touch to the down to the edge middle bottom of the iPod Touch. The image intersects the side of the iPod Touch.
