My First Time Ever Going to the Fireflies

On the 14th of October, we went to camp until 15th of Octoboer to Kuala Selangor. On the first day of camp at night which was the 14th of October, we were going to the fireflies. I was imagining red, orange, white, yellow fireflies. I was so excited of seeing all those fireflies because it was my first time seeing  the fireflies.

As we were going to the fireflies riding a bus, I sat with my friend Justin. I was talking to him about the fireflies. I asked him won't the fireflies be cool? Justin said yeah. As we reached the gate of going in to the fireflies, I asked people,
"Where's the fireflies?" But the people would just ignore me. As I was walking to the boat to see the fireflies, all I could see was fireflies in my view when there was none. I was like,
" Look there's a fireflies."

"Ok 4 people per boat" said the guide. We went on the boat second. I was on the boat with Joseph, Justin, Shivank and me. As the boat was leaving for the fireflies, I asked to driver, "How deep is the water?"
He replied,
"13 meters" I was scared as soon as he said that it was 13 meters.

As the boat was riding on, I saw a tree. I thought the tree was for decoration because it was covered the light was blinking. Suddenly, Joseph told me that the light that was blinking was the fireflies. As first I didn't believe Joseph but as I askied the driver, he said that they were the fireflies. I was ashamed because the fireflies wasn't there from my imagination. I was so sad. But, as the drive went on, the driver went close to the fireflies for us to touch it. As I was going to touch it the fireflies ran away. But, Joseph he caught two fireflies when we only thought there was only one on his hand. The driver suddenly went and as he was going I touched the fireflies. At first, I thought if I touch the fireflies, my finger would just go through it because it was light. As I touched it, there was something on my hand. It felt like insect. Suddenly Joseph said,
"Hey you almost killed it. You're so mean." As Joseph said that, I felt sad for the fireflies.

As the drive was over, we went to a shop and there was many products that children likes. I bought a sword which lights up when I press a button. As I was playing with it, we went on the bus and went back to our hostel. While I was riding the bus, I was dissapointed that the fireflies wasn't as colorful as I thought.

The Time When I Showed People My Courage

My time when I was brave was when I was in a soccer match. When I was playing a soccer game, I was the goalkeeper. So, one day when I was in a really big competition with other teams, our team was in the finals. I was so nervous because, the offence might be angry at me so I had to be really careful. I should be careful by not just catching the ball while standing up because if I make a mistake it will go through my legs. So, I had to kneel down and catch the ball so that it is safer then standing up.

As I was the keeper, one of the defender made a mistake so, it was a chance for the opponent. It was a 1vs1 chance. 1vs1 chance is the keeper vs offence. I was so scared. As the offender ran, I got ready and ready to save. As the offender kicked, it didn't go to my hand nor my leg. Was it a goal? As I looked back to the net, the ball wasn't there! I looked at the outline, and the ball was there! The ball went out by the ball hitting right to my cheeks. Did I feel painful? No! I was so happy that I saved it. As the offender who kicked looked really ashamed, all the opponent said, "It's ok."

As the game continues, it was interesting and really fun. When the game finished everybody in my team told me that I did a really good job. Do you know what the score was? The score was 3-0. I was very happy that I didn't got any goals scored and I was proud of myself.

What do the artifacts tell us about the lives of early humans?

There are many drawings of animals in a cave paintings. I think the early humans drew these to show how they lived, how they survived from other dangerous animals. I think the main point of drawing animals in the cave painting is to see the peace and the war of animals. About how they fought or how they made peace with other animals.

The other artifact that tells us are bones. The bones tells us how the early humans looked like. Archeologists find out skulls and put them skin and see how they looked like. I think bones are really hard to find in forests so i choosed bones.

About Historian

I have chosed archeologist in many reasons I will explain you 3 reasons. The first reason is that I like to travel around and explore places. Secondly, since archeologist dig things, if I can dig a very valuable product, I will be able to sell it with expensive price and be rich in the future. The last reason that I like archeologist is because I like to dig sands or anything

Hi my name is Jung Hun. I am from Seoul, South Korea. I like going to my hometown for summer vacation because I can see my families and eat some good Korean food. I am currently living in Malaysia. I have lived in Malaysia for 5 years. I was in Mutiara (before) for 2 years and ISKL (now) for 3 years.

I am interested in playing soccer. I would like to be a really good soccer player when I'm big enough to play soccer. I like watching wrestling. I like to watch John Cena (wrestler) and Park Ji Sung (soccer player). My favorite book series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. 

Playful is my first adjective that describes me because I like to play a lot especially I like to play soccer and computer games. The second adjective that describes me is sporty because most people say that I really like outdoor activity and running around. The third adjective that describes me is joyful because I always smile and I always try to be happy.

My goal is to improve in reading because I really want to improve on my reading. I really want to read a lot of books but unfortuantly I usually fall asleep.
